The new Builth Wells brand is here!

The Builth Wells brand has always been a challenge Pixelhaze has wanted to take on. It has been in the pipeline for number of years, but finally we’ve developed a brand that we know properly represents Builth Wells and does our beloved town justice, taking inspiration from it’s origins whilst bringing it to the 21st Century!

The branding was heavily inspired by the original Builth Bull, the White Park! A rare breed of ancient horned cattle which primarily lived in Great Britain. The Builth Bull has been used in numerous brands already, so we wanted to make ours unique.

When you ask someone to name two iconic features from Builth they will always say, the Bull & the bridge. So within the brand we stayed true to Builth’s roots, visualising both in the design. Even without the text, people from Mid-Wales would recognise Builth’s iconic bull and bridge combination.

To give our branding a modern aesthetic, we chose bold premium colours nodding to the town’s heritage, alongside an abstract visualisation of the bull standing proudly on the bridge which is the ‘Gateway to the heart of Wales’.

 
 

Keep an eye out on the Beef Up Builth Bales around and about Builth. As the year continues, the bales may begin personalities of their own. Watch this space!
