Builth & District Running Club: Race Report

Today was the 2nd race of the Herefordshire & borders xc league at little Peterstow Orchards near Ross on Wye hosted by Monross Trailblazers.

We had a fantastic turnout of 31 yellow shirts to make the long trip to put their strength against the mud. It was a great course with plenty of twists, technical sections and apples under foot!

The ladies were strong today with the teams taking 1st, 6th and 16th; there were notable 1st league outing performances from Sophie and Emma (who took 1st and 2nd in the FV40). Well done also to Donna who was 1st female home!

Great efforts were shown by all the men today, who fielded 4 teams and were one short of forming 5 teams. They were the first team over the line, and came 3rd overall!

Notable performances came from Wyndham (2nd overall) and Phil, Lee & Callum (2nd in their age categories).

Well done to those who were on their 2nd day of racing today - not easy starting on tired legs.

Well done team BaD. 100% efforts by everyone!
