(not)parkrun
Resume your weekend run with (not)parkrun
Runners who are missing their usual Saturday 5k parkrun should fret no longer, as the virtual 5k event known as (not)parkrun is encouraging people to dust of their shoes and take part.
(not)parkrun is asking existing parkrun members to walk, jog or run 5k any day of the week and to submit their time online; athletes may only submit one time per day per week, and marks will be displayed in the results table.
It’s important to note that athletes should not do their (not)parkrun 5k on their normal parkrun course, organisers have said:
“You can walk, jog, or run your 5k anywhere you like (providing it is safe to do so). In your garden, to and from your house, it doesn’t matter where your 5k is. We definitely do not want parkrunners turning up to their usual parkrun course at parkrun time”
To take part in (not)parkrun, you just need to register for parkrun first. Click on this link, select your country and register on your country’s website.
