Builth derives from the Welsh Bu Allt, meaning the wild ox of the wooded slope. The Welsh name Llanfair-ym-Muallt means The church of St. Mary in Buallt (Buallt mutating to Muallt).

INTRODUCING A NEW BRAND FOR BUILTH WELLS

INSPIRED BY THE WHITE PARK BULL

The White Park is a rare breed of ancient horned cattle primarily residing in Great Britain. Two similar semi-feral populations, the Chillingham Wild Cattle in Northumbria and the Vaynol cattle from Gwynedd in North Wales, have a separate breed status.

THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED AND SUPPORTED BY THE STRAND HALL

The Strand Hall was originally built for the people of Builth Wells in 1903. If it's walls could talk, it would be imbued with the history of this town, from celebrations to concerts and even barking mad YFC productions. This was a very important meeting place for the peoples of this area.
